What is the Grow a Garden calculator?
The Grow a Garden calculator is a free online tool for Grow a Garden, the Roblox gardening game where players grow crops, hatch pets, and trade them with other players. Every tradeable thing in the game has a value, pets weigh a certain number of kg, pets age from 1 up to 500, and many items carry a mutation — a multiplier such as Golden (×20) or Rainbow (×100) that multiplies the final worth. This calculator turns those raw stats into an estimated value, converts between value and weight, and judges whether a trade is a Win, Fair, or Lose (WFL).
It has six modes: pet value by kg and age, a value ↔ weight converter, a trade WFL checker, a fruit value calculator, an age 1–500 planner, and a mutation multiplier stack. Everything runs client-side in your browser — no account, no upload, no waiting.
How do you calculate pet value in Grow a Garden?
Quick answer: multiply the pet's base value per kilogram by its mutation multiplier, its weight in kg, and its age multiplier — value = base × mutation × kg × age. A Legendary pet (base 55 per kg) at 2.5 kg, age 500, with a Golden mutation (×20) is worth 55 × 20 × 2.5 × 2.996 = 8,239. The calculator shows every step of that multiplication in the result breakdown so you can sanity-check the math yourself.
Every number in the tool comes from these formulas:
- Pet value: total = base per kg × mutation multiplier × weight (kg) × age multiplier × boost
- Age multiplier: 1 + (age − 1) × 0.004 — age 1 is ×1.000, age 500 is ×2.996 (≈ ×3)
- Active ability boost: ×1.15 when enabled (+15%)
- Value ↔ weight: kg = value ÷ (base × mutation), or value = (base × mutation) × kg (assumes age 1)
- Fruit value: base × quality multiplier × fruit mutation × weight (kg) × size multiplier × stack bonus
- Size multiplier: 1 + (size − 1) × 0.005 — size 100 gives ×1.495 (up to +50%)
- Stack bonus: ×1.1 for stacked / multiplied fruit (+10%)
- Trade WFL: ratio = receive ÷ give; WIN ≥ 1.12, FAIR 0.92 to < 1.12, LOSE < 0.92
- Mutation stack: total = base × m1 × m2 × m3 (multiplicative, up to three mutations)

What are the pet base values per kg?
Pet base values are community estimates of what each rarity is worth per 1 kilogram at age 1 with no mutation. Higher rarities scale hard — a Rainbow pet starts at 12,000 per kg, which is 12,000× a Common.
| Rarity | Base value per 1 kg | Ability |
|---|---|---|
| Common | 1 | None |
| Uncommon | 3 | None |
| Rare | 8 | None |
| Epic | 20 | None |
| Legendary | 55 | Passive boost |
| Bug | 60 | Pest control |
| Mythical | 140 | Harvest assist |
| Divine | 380 | Lucky harvest |
| Secret | 950 | Mutation chance |
| Prismatic | 2,200 | Value surge |
| Transcendent | 6,000 | Aura boost |
| Rainbow | 12,000 | Full spectrum |
What are the Grow a Garden mutation multipliers?
Mutations multiply value. The common pet mutations run from Silver (×10) up to Voidtouched (×300); fruit mutations run from Wet (×2) up to Voidtouched (×300), with Rainbow (×100) and Disco (×175) shared across both.
| Pet mutation | Multiplier | Fruit mutation | Multiplier |
|---|---|---|---|
| None | ×1 | None | ×1 |
| Silver | ×10 | Wet | ×2 |
| Shimmer | ×12 | Frozen | ×4 |
| Golden | ×20 | Golden | ×20 |
| Oil | ×30 | Shocked | ×6 |
| Chrome | ×40 | Chocolate | ×7 |
| Diamond | ×50 | Dragon | ×8 |
| Twisted | ×65 | Wind | ×10 |
| Radioactive | ×80 | Honey Glazed | ×12 |
| Molten | ×90 | Sunset | ×15 |
| Rainbow | ×100 | Rainbow | ×100 |
| Nightmare | ×150 | Blood | ×35 |
| Disco | ×175 | Disco | ×175 |
| Corrupted | ×250 | Haunted | ×55 |
| Voidtouched | ×300 | Voidtouched | ×300 |
Extra fruit-only mutations include Pollinated (×3), Candy (×5), Foxglove (×25), Spliced (×60), and Tangled (×45). When two or three mutations stack, the multipliers multiply: Golden (×20) + Diamond (×50) = a combined ×1,000.
How does pet age work in Grow a Garden?
Pets age from 1 to a maximum of 500, and value grows linearly along the curve 1 + (age − 1) × 0.004. In plain terms: a level-500 pet is worth ×2.996 of the same pet at level 1 — almost exactly three times as much — and every100 levels is worth about ×1.4.
| Age | Age multiplier | Effect vs age 1 |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | ×1.000 | Baseline |
| 100 | ×1.396 | +39.6% |
| 250 | ×1.996 | ≈ double |
| 400 | ×2.596 | +159.6% |
| 500 | ×2.996 | ≈ ×3 |
Weight does not change with age — an older pet is worth more but weighs the same, which is exactly why the value ↔ weight converter assumes age 1.
How do you convert value to weight in Grow a Garden?
Value to weight: divide the value by the pet's value per kilogram (base value × mutation multiplier) to get kg. Weight to value: multiply that value per kg by the weight. Example: a Divine pet with no mutation is 380 per kg, so 10,000 value ÷ 380 = 26.32 kg, and 26.32 kg × 380 = 10,000 value. Both directions assume age 1.
How is a trade called Win, Fair, or Lose?
WFL trading compares the two sides by ratio: divide what you receive by what you give. A ratio of 1.12 or higher is a Win, a ratio from 0.92 up to 1.12 is Fair — a ±8% window around equal value — and anything below 0.92 is a Lose. The tool also prints the exact percentage difference so you can see how far from fair the offer sits.
| Receive ÷ give | Verdict | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| ≥ 1.12 | WIN | You receive at least 12% more value than you give |
| 0.92 – 1.12 | FAIR | Within the ±8% fair window around equal value |
| < 0.92 | LOSE | You give at least 8% more value than you receive |
| Give = 0, receive > 0 | WIN | Free value received |
What is the fruit value formula?
Fruit value = fruit base × quality multiplier × fruit mutation × weight (kg) × size multiplier × stack bonus. Size adds up to +50% at size 100, and stacked or multiplied fruit adds a flat +10%.
| Fruit | Base value | Quality multiplier |
|---|---|---|
| Carrot | 1 | ×1 |
| Strawberry | 5 | ×1.5 |
| Blueberry | 12 | ×2 |
| Tomato | 28 | ×2.5 |
| Corn | 45 | ×3 |
| Watermelon | 90 | ×4 |
| Pumpkin | 160 | ×5 |
| Candy Blossom | 420 | ×7 |
| Bone Blossom | 750 | ×9 |
| Dragon Fruit | 1,100 | ×12 |
| Moon Melon | 1,800 | ×15 |
| Celesti Berry | 2,600 | ×18 |
| Sugar Apple | 3,400 | ×22 |
| Beanstalk | 5,200 | ×28 |
| Grape Moon | 7,800 | ×35 |

- Stacking
- Applying several mutations at once; the multipliers multiply together rather than add.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Grow a Garden calculator?
The Grow a Garden calculator is a free browser tool for the Roblox game Grow a Garden that estimates pet and fruit values from weight in kg, age, and mutations, converts value to weight, and judges trades as Win, Fair, or Lose. It runs entirely on your device with no signup.
How do you calculate pet value in Grow a Garden?
Multiply the pet's base value per kilogram by its mutation multiplier, its weight in kg, and its age multiplier: value = base × mutation × kg × age. For example, a Legendary pet (base 55) at 2.5 kg, age 500, with a Golden mutation (×20) is worth 55 × 20 × 2.5 × 2.996 = 8,239.
What is the pet value formula by kg and age?
Value = (base value per kg × mutation multiplier) × weight in kg × age multiplier, where the age multiplier is 1 + (age − 1) × 0.004. Age 1 is ×1.000 and the maximum age of 500 is ×2.996 — about three times the age-1 value.
How do mutations stack in Grow a Garden?
Mutation multipliers stack multiplicatively: total value = base × m1 × m2 × m3. A Golden (×20) mutation combined with a Diamond (×50) mutation gives a combined ×1,000 multiplier, so stacked mutations move value far more than small weight gains.
How is a trade called Win, Fair, or Lose?
Divide the value you receive by the value you give. A ratio of 1.12 or higher is a Win, a ratio from 0.92 up to 1.12 is Fair — a ±8% window around equal value — and anything below 0.92 is a Lose.
What is the maximum pet age and how much is it worth?
The maximum pet age in Grow a Garden is 500. With the age curve 1 + (age − 1) × 0.004, a level-500 pet is worth ×2.996 of its level-1 value, which is almost exactly three times as much.
How do you convert value to weight in Grow a Garden?
Divide the value by the pet's value per kilogram (base value × mutation multiplier) to get weight in kg, or multiply that value per kg by the weight to go the other way. The converter assumes age 1, because older pets are worth more without weighing more.
Is the Grow a Garden calculator free?
Yes. The calculator is free with no signup, no paywall, and no account. Every calculation runs in your browser, nothing is uploaded to a server, and the tool keeps working offline once the page has loaded.
